Care Casseroles

Our Care Casserole program is designed to provide a casserole to CTS members who have been hospitalized and are home recuperating.  This is an ongoing project and we'd love to have you help us provide casseroles to show our members how much we care about them.

 

Prayer Chain

Our prayer chain members receive prayer requests and faithfully and confidentially pray each day.  We have both an email and a telephone prayer chain.

 

Prayer Shawl Ministry

The Prayer Shawl Ministry group gathers to create new prayer shawls by knitting, crocheting or tying fleece.  Supplies are available or you may bring your own.  Beginners are always welcome and we will teach you to knit or crochet.  Many shawls have been made, blessed, and wrapped around those in need of comfort and support.  Please join us the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm in the narthex.  We meet during the school year.

 

Visitation

We visit members of our congregation who are homebound, in nursing homes or assisted living facilities to provide them with prayer, support and communion.

 

 

Serving

 We serve in many ways at Christ the Servant.  From helping to stock our local food pantry, providing clothing to the Hope Center, eyeglasses to the Lions, food and visits to our members in need as well as prayer for all you would like to be held in prayer. 

We work to serve God's world as caring disciples of Jesus Christ.
