Adult Education

Adult Education: Growing in faith is a life-long journey. Most of us can barely remember what we were supposed to be learning back in Confirmation - and many of us didn't grow up in the church anyway. CTS wants to encourage and empower people of all ages and stages to learn together.

We have two regular Bible Study opportunities - Wednesdays at 6:30pm (Mondays during Lent) and Thursdays at 10am. Sunday morning almost always includes an opportunity for anyone who doesn't already participate in Sunday School or Youth Group to explore issues of faith and life together.

The "Adult Forum" at 9:30am on Sundays is sometimes topical (World Religions, Faith and Human Sexuality, Why the Cross?) or a more focused Bible study (often on the stories we are hearing in worship that day). We have a regular book club and sometimes have short-term topical book studies as well. Our "holy ground" events (Wednesdays during Lent and occasionally throughout the year) include fellowship, food, and worship, as well as opportunities for small group discussion about various topics or stories in scripture.

We also encourage household devotional time for people of all generations throughout the week/year, and Pr Jay is thrilled to help encourage anyone who wants to gather small groups for fellowship and faith formation at any time! Check the calendar for what's happening this week/month!
